1. About Secure Space

Secure Space is a private journaling application designed to help you recognize emotional patterns, practice reframing, and build more secure responses to triggers. The app includes a 6-step guided journal, quick trigger check-ins, reframe templates, grounding anchors, and pattern detection — all processed entirely on your device.

2. Not a Medical or Therapeutic Service

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Secure Space. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 17, do not use this app.

4. Your Account and Data

Secure Space does not require an account. All journal entries, assessments, reframes, and behavioral data are stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. We do not have access to your data at any time.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone. You may also delete all assessment and profile data at any time via Settings → Data → Reset All Data.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Secure Space — including reframe templates, grounding anchors, journal prompts, assessments, UI design, and copy — is owned by Secure Space and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

Your journal entries, reflections, and personal data belong entirely to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or licensing restrictions
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the app

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Secure Space is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Secure Space and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress — arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify you within the app.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Secure Space operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
